Solar Eclipse Day
The Solar Eclipse is the highlight of this journey. As the moon passes in front of the sun, the sky transforms into a breathtaking celestial display. Witness this extraordinary event aboard a spacious boat designed for comfort, on a 3 to 3.5-hour tour across the waters of Faxaflói Bay. This unique vantage point offers an immersive and unforgettable experience, creating lasting memories of one of nature’s most rare and awe-inspiring events.
*While this tour is designed to offer the best possible viewing experience, please note that clear skies cannot be guaranteed for Solar Eclipse Day. Like the northern lights, this rare celestial event depends on natural conditions beyond our control. Every effort will be made to provide an unforgettable experience, whether on land or water. Itineraries may be adjusted accordingly.
A cancellation fee of 20% will be retained for cancellations made from 6 to 8 weeks prior to the tour start. From 6 weeks until 4 weeks prior to the tour start, the fee is 50%. No refund is possible for cancellations made less than 4 weeks prior to the tour start, for no-shows, or for a tour that has begun but is not completed. A non-refundable booking fee/deposit of up to 20% may be charged in order to secure space on the tour.
