Itinerary
Upon arrival at Amsterdam International Airport (AMS), you will be greeted by your private driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, take some time to explore the charming surroundings of your hotel and get a first taste of Amsterdam streets and cozy atmosphere. After check-in, enjoy some free time to relax or take a gentle evening stroll through the nearby streets and canals beautifully illuminated with festive lights. Optional dinner: Try local specialties at The Pancake Bakery or De Silveren Spiegel for a cozy first evening.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then set out to experience the festive spirit of Amsterdam’s Christmas markets. Morning & Afternoon: Begin at Dam Square Christmas Market, right in the city center, to admire the grand Christmas tree and browse local artisan stalls. Continue to Leidseplein Winter Market — enjoy ice skating, street performances, and seasonal treats like stroopwafels and glühwein. Explore the surrounding canals and visit a few boutique shops for holiday souvenirs. Evening: Stroll along the Amsterdam Light Festival route — a breathtaking outdoor art experience of glowing installations across the canals. Dinner suggestion: Restaurant Jansz or The Duchess for a festive dinner with a view.
After breakfast, discover the city’s rich culture and iconic landmarks. Morning: Visit the Rijksmuseum to admire masterpieces by Rembrandt and Vermeer. Walk through Museumplein, where festive decorations surround the famous museums. Afternoon: Explore the Canal Belt (Grachtengordel) — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — and enjoy a canal cruise to see Amsterdam’s architecture from the water. Stop by the Anne Frank House (advance reservation recommended). Evening: Relax with a warm drink at a cozy café by the canal or explore Nine Streets (De 9 Straatjes) for charming boutiques and lights.
After breakfast, meet your driver and transfer to the Amsterdam International Airport "Amsterdam Airport Schiphol" (AMS). We recommend scheduling your hotel pick-up up to 4 hours before your flight departure time. Please note that hotel check-out is at 12:00 noon, and late check-out will be subject to availability.
