Itinerary

Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. Meet and greet by Best Tour representative. Transfer to the hotel. After start city tour and walk the Cascade Complex. It is a giant stairway made of limestone, which housed one of the most interesting & vast contemporary art collections. Head to the building of Opera house and North Avenue. After continue to the Republic square in the heart of Yerevan. Then head to Blue Mosque dating back to the 18th century. Then visit Matenadaran, one of the world’s largest and oldest repositories of Armenian, Greek, Persian manuscripts. Marvel at the illuminated pages of some of those manuscripts within their glass cases. Then head to Blue Mosque dating back to the 18th century. Later return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

After the breakfast at the hotel start the tour. First stop is near the Arch of Charents from where, the beautiful panoramic view is opened. Later head to Garni Fortress, which dates to 3rd century BC and to its jewel pagan Temple of Garni, which dates to 1st AD. After visit Symphony of Stones – the nature created sightseeing in Garni village. It is said that this natural monument is the result of the collapse of the volcanic rocks. Drive to Lake Sevan, also referred to as Pearl of Armenia. Set 1900 m above sea level and covering 1240 sq km, the vast expanse of Sevana Lich (Lake Sevan) is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

After the breakfast at the hotel start the tour to Khor Virap. The monastery Khor Virap stands before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat offering a spectacular view of the mountain, the national symbol of Armenia. It is where Grigor Luisavorich (St. Gregory the Illuminator) was imprisoned for 13 years before curing King Trdat III of a disease, which led to the baptism of Armenia into Christianity in 301 AD. It is from here that the most gorgeous and picturesque views of the snow-white Ararat, green fields and mountains on the horizon open. Then head to Areni Winery to taste wines of different kinds. It is among the oldest and most well-established wine facilities in the area. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
